Our organization is seeking a skilled fabricator with a highly-trained eye for quality to join our production TIG welding and Oxy fuel brazing department. You will learn methods for brass, copper, Stainless Steel and Steel fabrication, and you'll be able to help support our company's vision of delivering products of the highest quality to our customers. We are seeking a technically skilled candidate with good attention to detail for the position of Production TIG Welder and Brazing and soldering. This candidate would be responsible for adhering to a production schedule, assembling finished products using TIG Welding machines, Oxy Acetylene torches, MIG welding equipment and basic hand tools, fabricating various types of products, ensuring that all parts are properly fitted, aligned and secured and ensuring that safety standards are always met, among other duties. Successful candidate must have High school diploma or GED, minimum 1-3 years of experience in production based metal fabrication or plumbing, specifically Stainless steel welding, copper and brass soldering or brazing. Specialized certifications preferred, but not required. Knowledge of TIG Welding and Oxy Acetylene brazing or soldering is a must, proficiency operating power and small hand tools, attention to detail, and good dexterity.

Job description:

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Minimum 1 year TIG welding experience in a production based environment.
• Significant knowledge of stainless steel welding processes.
• Ability to braze and solder utilizing an Oxy fuel torch setup.
• Safely set up and brake down Oxy acetylene torch and cylinders. Inspect and replace flashback arrestors as needed, Check for leaks and setup gas pressures for proper brazing or soldering techniques.
• Knowledge of brazing or soldering different materials such as brass, copper and stainless steel.
• Ability to safely and efficiently utilize metal fabrication equipment, such as MIG welders, plasma cutting equipment, grinders and basic hand tools used in the metal fabrication industry
• Ability to safely operate a forklift is required
• Knowledge of sheet metal tools including Laser cutters, Plasma tables and press breaks not required, but is a plus.
• Knowledge of CNC mill and lathe setup and operation not required, but is a plus
