Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our high-performance off-road team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in TIG and MIG welding, precision fabrication, chassis construction, and race vehicle assembly. This position requires attention to detail, craftsmanship, and a passion for building world-class off-road race vehicles and sand cars capable of competing at the highest levels of motorsports. Key Responsibilities Fabricate, fit, and weld chromoly, aluminum, and mild steel components for off-road race vehicles. Build and modify race chassis, suspension systems, roll cages, bumpers, and custom vehicle components. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD prints, and fabrication sketches. Perform precision TIG and MIG welding to aerospace- and motorsports-level quality standards. Operate fabrication equipment including tube benders, notchers, presses, saws, grinders, and plasma cutters. Ensure all fabricated parts meet strict quality, safety, and performance requirements. Assist with vehicle assembly, teardown, repairs, and race preparation. Diagnose structural or fabrication-related issues and develop effective solutions. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Collaborate with engineers, mechanics, and race team personnel to continuously improve vehicle performance and reliability. Required Qualifications 5+ years of professional welding and fabrication experience. Advanced TIG welding skills on chromoly and aluminum. Strong MIG welding experience. Proven experience building race vehicles, off-road vehicles, trophy trucks, prerunners, UTVs, or similar high-performance vehicles. Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and engineering specifications. Experience fitting and fabricating complex tube structures. High attention to detail and pride in workmanship. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in off-road racing, motorsports, aerospace, or performance vehicle fabrication. Familiarity with CAD software and digital fabrication workflows. Knowledge of suspension geometry and race vehicle setup. CNC machining or programming experience. Race support and trackside experience. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in fabrication environments for extended periods. Comfortable working around welding equipment, power tools, and race vehicles.
