You will be working with carbon steel and alloy tube sheets, tube caps, and heat exchanger shells as well as doing general fabrication. This is a Monday to Friday position with overtime and weekends.
MORNING SHIFT
M-F 7:00 AM TO 3:30
PM Description:
Perform gouging and stick (SMAW with and without flux, and flux-cored rods), MIG, TIG Welding. Use grinders, sanders, press brakes, and other fabrication machinery. Grinding and/or cleaning of welds, keeping the workplace in an orderly fashion, cleaning up, and abiding by safe work practices. Inspects welding leads, electrode holders, insulation, and grounding. Move, cut, bend, and reposition materials and sheet metal. Use the Forklift and the overhead crane
Qualifications:
2 to 4 years of experience with: stick (with and without flux, and flux-cored rods), MIG, TIG, gas tungsten arc, sub-arc, and submerged arc. Experience operating fabrication tools and machinery. Must be willing to abide by shop safe work, job set up and clean up practices. The job often requires standing for extended periods of time, the ability to push/pull, crawl, climb, and avoid electrical hazards and normal shop hazards.
