Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder to join our dynamic fabrication and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise welding tasks across various projects, including pipefitting, pipe welding, and structural fabrication. Your expertise will ensure that all welds meet stringent safety standards and quality specifications, contributing to the successful completion of construction and maintenance projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your technical skills to deliver durable, high-quality results that support infrastructure development and system installations.

$24-$27
Shift:
7am Welder experience Duties Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding techniques on pipes, structural components, and assemblies in accordance with blueprints and technical drawings Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and schematics to determine welding specifications and procedures Prepare materials using hand tools, power tools, calipers, pipe threading machines, tube bending equipment, and other fabrication tools to ensure proper fit-up before welding Execute pipefitting tasks such as pipe installation, pipe threading, soldering, and pipe welding following ASME codes & standards and NFPA standards for fire sprinkler systems Maintain safety protocol adherence by following OSHA regulations, NFPA standards, and site-specific safety procedures during all welding activities Conduct inspections of welds using calipers and visual testing methods to verify quality; perform basic math calculations for measurements and tolerances as required Assist with maintenance tasks on pipelines or sprinkler systems to ensure ongoing system integrity and compliance with safety regulations Experience Proven experience in construction site environments involving pipe welding, fabrication, or related roles Demonstrated proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, and other arc welding techniques Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, construction plans, and schematics Familiarity with pipe threading, tube bending, soldering, and pipe installation processes Mechanical knowledge related to piping systems, sprinkler systems installation, and pipeline maintenance Experience working with power tools safely in a construction setting; understanding of power tool safety protocols Ability to adhere strictly to safety regulations while maintaining high-quality workmanship in fast-paced environments Join our team if you're passionate about delivering precise welds that stand the test of time!
