What You'll Do Perform MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel Carry out standard fabrication tasks including cutting, grinding, fitting, and prepping materials Operate shop equipment such as saws, drills, presses, grinders, and other fabrication tools Lay out, fabricate, and assemble parts and equipment using blueprints and shop drawings Prepare components for welding, painting, or final assembly Inspect work for accuracy, quality, and proper fit Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Assist with general shop tasks and other duties as assigned What We're Looking For Minimum 1 year of MIG welding experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints Fabrication experience preferred (layout, fitting, cutting, etc.) Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16" Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Must pass a welding test administered by the shop supervisor Understanding of basic shop and manufacturing safety procedures Reliable attendance and ability to work well with a team Familiarity with standard hand tools, air tools, and power tools Why Work With Us Steady, full‑time work in a growing company Training provided for company‑specific builds and processes Opportunity to expand your fabrication and welding skills Supportive team environment Work that is hands‑on, engaging, and different every day About Diamond Steel Co., Inc.
