Job Description

Position Summary We are looking for an experienced Aluminum TIG Welder to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in precision aluminum welding and fabrication, with the ability to produce clean, high-quality welds that meet customer and engineering specifications. Responsibilities Perform precision TIG welding on aluminum components and assemblies. Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols. Fit, tack, and weld aluminum parts to specification. Inspect welds to ensure quality, appearance, and structural integrity. Operate fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, and polishing tools. Maintain welding equipment and ensure a clean, safe work environment. Follow all safety procedures and quality standards. Work independently and collaboratively to meet production schedules. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of aluminum TIG welding experience. Strong understanding of aluminum welding techniques, heat control, and distortion prevention. Ability to weld thin- and medium-gauge aluminum with a high cosmetic standard. Experience reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. AWS aluminum welding certification is a plus but not required. Preferred Skills Experience with custom fabrication and prototype work. Ability to perform fit-up and layout with minimal supervision. Familiarity with shop equipment such as press brakes, shears, and saws.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
