Job Description
2nd Shift Only We are seeking a skilled Orbital Welder for our 2nd shift welding operations team! The ideal candidate will have 2 years of orbital welding on stainless steel tubing on diameters of ¼", 3/8" and ½ " and wall thicknesses of between .035"
- .049". Duties
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques, primarily TIG on stainless steel tubing.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications
- Fabricate and assemble to tolerances determined by client
- Operate basic hand tools and orbital welding equipment as necessary for welding and fabrication work
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet standards using drawings and calipers. Experience
- 2 years previous experience in orbital TIG welding is preferred.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding project requirements
- Ability to operate hand tools and machinery safely
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment is preferred.
