Job Title:
Welder Job Description Perform TIG welding on complex metal components, including stainless steel, nickel alloys, and other specialty materials. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications. Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently. Inspect welds for accuracy, defects, and compliance with quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures. Essential Skills Proficiency in TIG welding. Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and safety. Experience with inspection and quality assurance. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Willingness to learn new skills hands-on. Team-oriented attitude. Experience in small parts assembly and troubleshooting. Work Environment Work in a well-lit, air-conditioned production floor. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New London, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.82 - $31.52/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
