In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in various welding techniques and ability to interpret technical schematics will be essential in delivering high-quality work that meets industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse projects, ensuring safety and durability across all applications. Duties Perform MIG welding, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), TIG welding, and other welding processes on different materials and structures Fabricate, repair, and reinforce vehicle frames and chassis components with precision and structural integrity Weld structural steel components for commercial and industrial building projects Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute fabrication tasks Use hand tools, power tools and calipers to prepare materials for welding or assembly Maintain safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing facilities while rigging and handling heavy materials Inspect completed welds for quality assurance using visual checks and measurement tools; document work progress Communicate effectively with bilingual and Spanish-speaking team members on job sites Required Skills Proficiency in multiple welding techniques including MIG, FCAW, TIG, and Florida welding standards Experience with structural building fabrication and welding strongly preferred Experience with vehicle frame and chassis welding, including repair, reinforcement, and custom fabrication strongly preferred Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately Experience with hand tools, power tools, and calipers Familiarity with ASME codes & standards for welding and fabrication projects Knowledge of rigging procedures for lifting heavy materials safely on construction sites or in manufacturing environments Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks Experience working on construction sites or in manufacturing facilities with a focus on safety compliance Understanding of maintenance procedures for welded structures or mechanical systems Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred; Spanish-speaking candidates strongly encouraged to apply Required Experience Minimum 3 years of professional welding experience in construction, industrial, or automotive/vehicle settings. Prior experience with structural building fabrication and vehicle frame or chassis welding is strongly preferred.
