Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience welding a variety of metals, including stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum, while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting production deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum in all welding positions. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions. Determine quality requirements and ensure all finished products meet specifications. Set up and operate spot welding equipment, including tooling selection and machine setup. Inspect welds and finished assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards. Maintain a safe and organized work environment. Work efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines. Collaborate with team members to improve manufacturing processes and productivity.
Qualifications:
Proven experience with TIG welding on stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum. Ability to weld in all positions. Familiarity with spot welder setup, tooling selection, and machine setup. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Dependable, reliable, and able to meet production deadlines. Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Welding certification(s) a plus. Experience in a manufacturing or machinery fabrication environment. Experience with sheet metal fabrication and assembly.
