This role offers an opportunity to work on projects, such as stainless steel, steel, and aluminum metal assemblies. The ideal candidate will be a craftsman, with safety, and efficiency, in mind. Responsibilities Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials such as stainless steel, steel, aluminum, following detailed blueprints and schematics. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and welding symbols to ensure accurate fabrication. Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape and assemble components. Conduct quality inspections utilizing calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and weld integrity. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols, including rigging procedures and proper handling of welding gases and equipment. Operate forklifts or other machinery safely to move materials within the workspace. Requirements Proven experience working in manufacturing facilities with a focus on welding projects. Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding. Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to welding practices and fabrication quality. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and other fabrication machinery.. Strong attention to detail with the ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools effectively. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
