The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and welding processes, with the ability to build and rig components efficiently. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using hand tools, as well as experience with 16 and 18 gauge steel. If you are detail-oriented and passionate about quality workmanship, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities Fabricate and weld metal components according to specifications and blueprints. Build and rig structures, ensuring all parts fit together accurately. Ability to read a tape measurer Work with sheet metal to create ductwork and other necessary components. Utilize machining techniques to shape materials as required. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols. Perform inspections of finished products using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met. Experience Proven experience in welding and fabrication, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Familiarity with various welding techniques (MIG) is essential. Experience working with hand tools and machinery is required. Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills are necessary for success in this role. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints is preferred. Prior experience with commercial hollow metal doors is a plus.
