Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator ( who speaks English and/orSpanish languaje ) to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling aluminum components with precision and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality metal structures and products, supporting our commitment to excellence in fabrication and mechanical craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing advanced welding techniques and fabrication skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication shop drawings to ensure accurate assembly and welding of metal components. Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, power tools, and shop math to verify dimensions and ensure precise fabrication. Cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal, metal materials, and other fabricated components using plasma cutters, machining tools, hand tools, and power tools. Adhere strictly to safety protocols during all welding and fabrication activities to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks, ensuring mechanical fabrication meets quality standards and project specifications. Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspect finished products for quality control, and troubleshoot fabrication issues as they arise. Skills Extensive construction site experience with a solid understanding of safety procedures. Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and interpreting mechanical blueprints accurately. Strong knowledge of welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, SMAW, and gas metal arc welding. Ability to operate measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math for precise measurements. Experience working with aluminum materials in a fabrication shop environment. Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret technical drawings for assembly or fabrication projects. Familiarity with ASME codes & standards for pressure vessels or piping systems is a plus. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting equipment, machining tools, and measuring instruments. Understanding of safety protocols related to welding operations and general shop safety practices. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for precise fabrication work.
