Job Description

Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder specializing in MIG and TIG welding to join our dynamic fabrication team. This role involves working on diverse construction and manufacturing projects, ensuring high-quality welds that meet strict industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, excellent blueprint reading skills, and experience working on construction sites or manufacturing environments. Duties Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials, including sheet metal, ductwork, and pipe components, adhering to project specifications and safety standards Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements and procedures Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape and assemble metal parts Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices to ensure accurate fabrication Operate rigging equipment and forklifts as needed for material handling and assembly tasks Follow ASME codes & standards to ensure weld quality and safety compliance during fabrication processes Assist with pipe threading, mechanical assembly, soldering, machining, and other related tasks as required on construction or manufacturing sites Qualifications Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding within construction or manufacturing environments Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently Experience with rigging, crane operation assistance, pipe threading, ductwork fabrication, and assembly processes Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements and calculations Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to welding and fabrication practices Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments requiring attention to detail Join our team to bring your welding expertise into exciting projects that demand precision craftsmanship!
