Welder
SHIFT OPTIONS
(includes 8% shift differential):
  • 2nd shift: Mon-Fri | 3:00pm-11:10pm | $24.34/hr
  • 3rd shift: Sun-Thurs | 11:00pm-7:10am | $24.
34/hr Job Description As a Welder, you will operate both robotic and manual MIG weld machines. You will perform quality checks utilizing weld and attribute gauges along with other measuring tools. Additionally, you will carry out in-station repairs on defective welds using grinders. Following documented procedures, standard work, and routings, you will execute safe and defect-free operations to create and machine components. You will also use lifting devices to move heavy components weighing more than 35 pounds. Responsibilities Operate robotic and manual MIG weld machines. Perform quality checks using weld and attribute gauges and other measuring tools. Repair defective welds in-station using grinders. Follow documented procedures, standard work, and routings for safe operations. Use lifting devices to move components over 35 lbs. Essential Skills 1+ year of previous welding experience or completion of welding school. Proficiency in MIG welding. Experience with welding robots. Ability to pass

The job is physically demanding and requires being on your feet all day. The facility operates in multiple shifts with overtime available and occasional weekend work as needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Commerce, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.54 - $26.44/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
