Job Description

About the Role We are looking for a skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our production team. You will be instrumental in transforming raw materials into high-quality industrial components, utilizing your expertise in TIG welding and precision assembly to ensure every project meets rigorous engineering standards. Responsibilities Execute precise TIG (GTAW) welding on stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum to achieve structural integrity. Interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings to guide the layout, fitting, and assembly of custom metal parts. Operate a variety of shop machinery, including saws, grinders, and ironworkers, to prepare materials for final fabrication. Ensure all finished assemblies comply with exact customer specifications and internal quality benchmarks. Collaborate with the shop team to streamline production workflows and meet critical project deadlines. Maintain a high standard of workplace safety and organization, strictly adhering to all established shop protocols. Assist in the movement and staging of materials to optimize shop floor efficiency. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 2 years of professional TIG welding and fabrication experience. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and weld symbols. Proficiency in shop math, including geometry and precise measurement. Strong commitment to safety and quality craftsmanship. Preferred Skills Experience with MIG (GMAW), Flux Core (FCAW), or Stick (SMAW) welding processes. Background in fabricating structural supports, platforms, or process piping. Familiarity with AWS welding standards or current AWS certifications. Previous experience in a lead or supervisory capacity within a manufacturing environment.
