Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabricating metal components, ensuring high-quality welds following codes and standards.Responsibilities:
- Interpret and follow engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics to weld metal parts
- Set up welding machines based on the job at hand
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment through the use of MIG welding techniques
- Inspect and test welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
- Operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and rigging equipment as needed
- Perform welding on various materials including ductwork
- Adhere to safety standards and procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a MIG Welder or similar role
- Proficient in FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) techniques
- Familiarity with various welding equipment and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Strong attention to detail to ensure precision in welding tasks
- Capability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects efficiently
Nice-to-have Skills:
