Job Description

Perform structural MIG and TIG welding in 3G and other out-of-position applications on production weldments while meeting schedule and compliance requirements. Job Responsibilities Perform structural MIG and TIG welding in a 3G position and other out-of-position orientations Set up welding equipment and select appropriate parameters for material and joint requirements Fit, tack, and weld components per prints, weld symbols, and work instructions Inspect welds for defects and complete rework/repair welding as required Maintain welding consumables, tools, and work area in a production environment Follow required safety procedures and documentation practices as applicable Job Requirements Fluency with structural MIG and TIG welding in a 3G position Out-of-position welding experience Availability to work Monday through Saturday (up to 55 hours/week) Willingness to work day shift Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass a drug screen and background check Preferred Skills Experience welding structural steel in multiple positions (3G/4G/6G) Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols Experience using grinders, torches, and standard fabrication tools
