Job Description

Job Title:
Welder Job Description Join our team as a Welder, where you will be responsible for welding various types of steel to produce frames. Your role will involve reading blueprints and schematics to identify the proper parts and using precise measuring tools to ensure accuracy. You will set voltages and wire speeds on welding machines for reliable and aesthetically pleasing welds. Additionally, you will use an oxyacetylene torch to cut, preheat, or anneal metal parts and weld in various positions, including climbing in and out of frames. Responsibilities Assemble shear heads and use feeder and gauges to set blade clearance. Work with sheet metal to make guards and run shear in the booth. Use hand brake to bend up edges and weld completely. Operate CNC Burn Table and maintain related equipment. Lay out pieces to be cut to assure efficient use of material. Utilize power leaf brake, power shear, hand brake, and power roll. Maintain a working knowledge of computers and CNC controls. Essential Skills Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Flux Core welding. Ability to read blueprints and fabricate structures. Experience in grinding and assembly work. Capability to use tape measures, torque wrenches, and measuring instruments. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Operate a fork truck and overhead crane. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control. Valid driver's license. Why Work Here?
