Job Description

Arcosa Wind Towers, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of structural wind towers in North America. We focus on excellence, offering premier value to our customers. Arcosa Wind Towers, Inc. is searching for Welders. As a Welder , you will use drawings or work orders using semi-automatic and mechanized welding equipment to fabricate and repair wind tower sections. You may also be required to inspect completed work for conformance to specifications and perform routine preventative maintenance of equipment. Weld Process Certification Training is provided with eligible background and experience.

Newton, IA What you'll do: Proficiently perform welding on wind tower sections Maintain attendance within acceptable standards What you'll need:
Experience:
1 Year Welding in GMAW, FCAW, SAW, or SMAW Technical Skills Read Tape Measure General tool usage including hand tools, torches, and grinders Read, write, and speak proficiently in English Follow directions Effective interpersonal communicator, good listener and open to feedback Desire to learn Team player Flexible Attention to detail Interest and aptitude in technology Dependable and punctual Strong work ethic Adaptable Good social skills Problem Solving Time Management Resourcefulness Read Tape Measure General tool usage including hand tools, torches, and grinders
Working Conditions:
Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds. This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant

Be aware of and observe all safety practices. Including but not limited to- Safety glasses, safety boots, hearing protection, etc… as required Know and follow all safety rules and procedures. Participate in safety committees and initiatives as assigned.
