Job Description
Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality structures, ductwork, piping systems, and custom fabrications that meet strict safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and welding tasks. Perform MIG and/or TIG welding techniques to join sheet metal, pipe, and structural components. Operate rigging equipment such as cranes and forklifts safely to move heavy materials and assemblies within the worksite or shop floor. Measure materials precisely using calipers and tape measures to ensure proper fit and alignment according to specifications. Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times during construction site or shop-based fabrication activities. Requirements Proficiency in MIG and/or TIG welding techniques Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings confidently. Familiarity with using calipers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment is a plus. Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Experience working with sheet metal. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
