Job Description
Summary Atlas Staffing is hiring a full time Welder for a reputable manufacturing company in Post Falls, Idaho. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to help build heavy duty equipment and vehicles from the ground up while working with a skilled production team. Role Purpose As a Welder, you will fabricate complex machinery, weld in multiple positions, and help move products through each stage of production. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands on work, performs well in a fast paced environment, and takes pride in producing high quality work. Responsibilities
- Fabricate structural assemblies using blueprints and production specifications
- Perform MIG welding in multiple positions
- Interpret weld layouts, measurements, and fabrication requirements
- Inspect weld size, spacing, placement, and overall quality
- Remove slag, spatter, tack welds, and temporary bracing
- Prepare, clean, and position parts before welding
- Use grinders, hand tools, and fabrication equipment safely
- Maintain production quality in a high output environment Qualifications
- At least 2 years of welding experience required
- At least 3 years of welding experience preferred
- Experience reading blueprints and interpreting weld layouts
- Ability to maintain quality and accuracy in a fast paced production setting
- Comfortable standing, bending, twisting, and working in varied physical positions
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in temperatures ranging from approximately 55°F to 88°F
- Ability to wear required safety equipment, including gloves and a welding mask Pay
- $23.00 to $28.00 per hour, depending on experience Available Shifts
- Monday through Thursday
