2nd Shift | Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM Why Join Us MIG welding Supportive, team-oriented environment focused on development Exposure to a wide range of manufacturing processes Opportunities for growth, increased responsibility, and pay What You'll Do Start in production to learn shop processes, safety, and quality standards Transition into performing MIG welds on metal components Spend most of your time welding once trained (60-70%) Operate equipment such as punch presses and grinders Perform grinding to prepare parts for finishing or assembly Read and follow blueprints and welding drawings Work in a team-based welding cell to meet daily production goals Progress from basic to more complex welds as your skills grow Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Assist with other production tasks, including packaging What You Need BMIG welding experience and knowledge and a strong desire to learn Ability to read simple blueprints and welding drawings Willingness to start in production and grow into welding Ability to work 2nd shift and occasional Saturdays Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications MIG welding certifications Experience with grinding or fabrication tools Exposure to punch press or similar equipment Experience in manufacturing or production environments Interest in advancing into more complex welding work Work Environment Team-based welding cells (3-5 people per group) Hands-on, active role requiring standing, lifting, and movement Work with welding equipment, grinders, and fabrication tools Facility includes metal, plastic, and wood fabrication, as well as coating and packaging Overtime available, including occasional Saturday shifts Apply Today If you are starting your welding career and want real-world experience with a clear path forward, apply now to join a team that invests in your growth. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Belvidere, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
