In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for executing precise fabrication, assembly, and installation tasks on construction sites, ensuring all projects meet safety standards, quality specifications, and deadlines. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in metalworking, welding, and mechanical assembly, combined with excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction and manufacturing projects with a focus on innovation and excellence. Duties Interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes Operate various power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently for cutting, shaping, and assembling sheet metal and ductwork components Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), welding, and plasma cutting to create high-quality welds that adhere to ASME codes & standards Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and schematics to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of parts Conduct rigging operations for lifting and positioning heavy components using cranes or forklifts while adhering to safety protocols Fabricate custom parts using press brake machines, machining tools, or pipe threading equipment as required by project specifications Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling materials, disposing of waste, and organizing tools and supplies efficiently Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during fabrication or installation processes and implement effective solutions Skills Extensive construction site experience with a solid understanding of safety procedures and protocols Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding, welding, and plasma cutting techniques Ability to read blueprints, schematics, mechanical drawings, and schematics accurately Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment Knowledge of rigging practices for lifting heavy components safely with cranes or forklifts Strong mechanical knowledge related to ductwork installation, pipe threading, machining, soldering, and assembly processes Familiarity with ASME codes & standards governing welding and fabrication work Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations Experience working with sheet metal fabrication, manufacturing processes, or construction projects involving ductwork or structural steel Join us in delivering exceptional craftsmanship on challenging projects!
