Job Description
We are seeking dependable and experienced Level
I/II/III
Welders to join our structural steel fabrication team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for welding structural steel components according to blueprints, specifications, and quality standards while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong welding skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform MIG welding on structural steel components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols.
- Fit, align, and assemble structural steel members before welding.
- Operate fabrication equipment including grinders, saws, torches, and material handling equipment.
- Inspect welds for defects and complete repairs when necessary.
- Maintain welding equipment and report maintenance needs.
- Follow production schedules while maintaining quality workmanship.
- Work safely and comply with company safety policies.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Assist with other fabrication duties as assigned. Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of structural steel welding experience.
- Proficient in MIG (GMAW) welding.
- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
- Experience using measuring tools and fabrication equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.
