Job Description
Job DescriptionIngram Marine Group is seeking an Experienced Welder for our team in East Carondelet, Illinois. Whether you are a Certified Welder, or just starting, we will invest in your training and development for the next level. This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of Ingram's fleet of barges and boats. We operate in an environment where flexibility and a willingness to take on new tasks, and responsibilities keep things interesting! What you'll be doing:
Wire and stick weldingCutting/FittingOperating forkliftOperating hydraulic craneInspecting and pumping bargesRoute dock clean upOther duties as requestedQualificationsWhat we're looking for:
Demonstration of the Ingram WayAbility to uphold Ingram's high safety standardsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentDemonstration of critical thinking and decision-making skillsAbility to demonstrate teamwork and acceptance of diversityStrong communication skills with all levels within the organization Candidates must:
Possess a High School Diploma or GEDPossess a valid driver's licenseDisplay excellent communication skillsCan walk and lift for extended periodsCan carry more than fifty pounds on a regular basisMust be able to read and write the English language to comply with USCG regulatory requirementsAdditional InformationMonday-Friday7-3:30 (winter hours)6-2:30 (summer hours)
