Job Description

Welders (MIG and TIG): Machesney Park, Illinois Our customer in Machesney Park, Illinois, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We're recruiting Welders to work full ‑ time on 1st shift. As a Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components while maintaining quality, accuracy, and safety standards. Responsibilities of the
Welder:
Work from engineering drawings and Bill of Materials to fabricate parts within target times. Accurately measure and lay out holes and locations for welded components. Adjust welding equipment to accommodate varying thicknesses of steel. Operate MIG and TIG welders grinders, drills, and a variety of hand and power tools. Use measuring devices to ensure parts meet specifications. Operate overhead cranes and forklifts (if certified). Complete required paperwork, records, and documentation. Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE. Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards. Assist with training new employees as needed. May travel to customer facilities to perform service work.
MIG Welder Requirements and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-3 years of trade training or related experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, bills of materials, and work instructions. Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills. Ability to communicate effectively with others. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Ability to work in environments with noise, heat, fumes, and airborne particles. Pay for

  • Thursday from 5:00am
  • 3:30pm and Friday from 5:00am
  • 1:30pm.
