Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented TIG Welder-Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. Candidate will have expertise in TIG welding stainless steel - both thin gauge (16 ga. to 10 ga.) and lighter plate material (up to ½" thick). Candidate should have be able to interpret complex blueprints, and can fabricate high-quality, precise components from scratch. Experience in food and pharmaceutical equipment fabrication a plus. Responsibilities Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and welding tasks. Perform high-quality TIG (GTAW) welding techniques to join stainless steel metals according to industry standards. Experience with laser welding a plus but not required. Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal. Measure materials accurately using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools; perform basic math calculations for dimensions and tolerances. Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely to move heavy materials or finished products within the workspace. Follow ASME codes & standards for welding procedures and fabrication practices to ensure safety and quality compliance. Maintain a clean work environment by adhering to safety protocols during machining, pipe threading, soldering, or assembly processes. Qualifications Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety procedures and site protocols. Proficiency in TIG welding, FCAW, MIG welding, plasma cutting welding techniques. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings with confidence. Familiarity with stainless steel fabrication, pipe threading, and assembly processes. Knowledge of rigging operations, crane handling, forklift operation, and basic math skills for measurements. Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools, power tools, schematics, calipers, micrometers, and press brake machines. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50-60 lbs independently. Capable of standing for long periods, bending, kneeling, and working in tight spaces.
