Tig Welder Full-Time Direct Hire/ Mon-Thurs/ 1st or 2nd shift. Paris, IL area
Position Overview:
A growing advanced manufacturing organization is seeking a skilled TIG Welding Technician to join its production team. This position offers the opportunity to work with precision metal components in a quality-driven environment supporting highly engineered products This is an opportunity to work in a clean, team-oriented environment where quality, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement are valued. What You'll Do as a
Tig Welder:
Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on a variety of metal components and assemblies. Prepare, fit, assemble, and weld sheet metal, tubing, groove, and fillet weld applications. Set up, adjust, and verify welding equipment, fixtures, and tooling prior to production. Inspect weld quality to ensure compliance with blueprint requirements, specifications, and quality standards. Utilize precision measuring equipment to verify dimensional accuracy and weld integrity. Troubleshoot welding processes and support continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate production documentation and adhere to established work instructions. Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards within the manufacturing environment.
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical training, welding certification, or equivalent hands-on TIG welding experience preferred. Experience reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and weld specifications. Strong understanding of weld inspection, measurement tools, and quality requirements. Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Send your resume to
