We are professional, innovative and fast-paced. Maxim Racing Inc is a leading Manufacturer of Sprint Car Racing chassis and components. We are looking for motivated individuals for Tig Welding and Fabricating. Maxim offers competitive pay, benefits, paid holidays and a climate controlled work environment. Looking for full time employees with Tig Welding experience to work in our Springfield, IL facility. Position is responsible for fitting and welding 4130 Chromoly tubing using foot pedal Tig Welding process. Duties include- Tig Welding 4130 Chromoly Tubular racing chassis and components. Set up fixtures per customer specification. Prepare parts to be welded including cutting, grinding and cleaning tubular parts. Read and interpret drawings and diagrams. Must be willing to work 40 plus hour weeks as needed.
