2nd Shift (2:30-11PM)
Pay:

And that is just the start! Other benefits include tuition reimbursement, earned wage access, discounts, 10 Paid Holidays, and more! Welder will operate Robotic Welder and repairs welds as needed. Sets up and operates manual or semi-automatic MIG welding equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products. May assist in training lower level welders Essential Functions Required but not limited to: Performs basic equipment maintenance and daily safety checks as prescribed (changing tips, nozzles, and using nozzle dip). Operates automatic welding machine and be able to use basic hand tools and measuring devices (calipers, tape measure and micrometers). Visually inspects product for defects and product errors. Able to make simple repairs to non-conforming product. Manually loads, unloads, and adjusts placement in the machine of material and work pieces to be processed. Monitors the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating. Following prescribed frequency, measures dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures. Meets or exceeds production rates and quality standards. Assures pieces and material received for processing and removed after processing are tagged with correct count and identification number, without multiple tags. Maintains work area. Work Environment Subject to hot temperatures. May be subject to loud working environment. Skin may be exposed to oils and/or coolant. Measuring and Mathematical Skills o Verifies parts using work instructions. o Successfully completes training or demonstrates proficiency in blueprint reading o Produces accurate results when using precision measuring instruments. Language Skills (Speaking and Writing) o Effectively communicates with coworkers and supervisors. o Writes clearly and legibly. Basic Reasoning Skills o Applies common sense when following written and oral instructions. o Reads, interprets, and acts on written instruction. Physical Requirements and Manual Dexterity o Constant standing throughout shift, with occasional walking. o Frequent bending, lifting, and/or carrying throughout shift. o May lift up to 40 pounds on an intermittent basis. o Effective use of appropriate basic hand tools.
