Job Description
Job Summary Join us in delivering top-tier welding craftsmanship that builds the foundation for safe infrastructure! Your expertise will help ensure our projects are completed efficiently while up We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Steel Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and a good eye for precision fabrication. This role involves working on a variety of metal projects, requiring a combination of technical skills and creative problem-solving abilities from fabricated steel to modification of shipping containers.
Welder Key Responsibilities:
- ""•Perform MIG and FCAW on mild steel.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to determine material requirements and project designs.
- Layout material according to print specification.
- Fabricate metal parts and structures according to project specifications and dimensions.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of welds and fabricated parts through thorough inspections.
- Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with team members and shop foreman to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with welding equipment and make minor repairs as needed.
- Comply with safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a structural steel Welder or similar role.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques and equipment operation.
- Must be able to use measuring tools accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
- Must be able to use industry standard layout tools for structural steel.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Certification in welding or fabrication is a plus.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.

Pay:
