Job Description

Welder Company Overview Med-Mizer is a leading manufacturer of hospital beds, specialty seating, and safe patient-handling solutions. Position:
Welder Schedule:
Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (4-Day Workweek)
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications. Set up fixtures and prepare materials for welding operations. Perform MIG welding on steel components used in the manufacturing of medical devices, including bed frames and therapy equipment. Maintain welding equipment and report maintenance needs as necessary. Work closely with production team members to meet daily production goals. Follow all company quality standards, safety procedures, and workplace policies. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong work ethic, dependability, and positive attitude.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift). Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of materials up to 50 lbs. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the workday. Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly rate starting at $19.50/hour Additional $1.00/hour attendance bonus (inquire for details) Quarterly performance bonus eligibility Overtime opportunities available based on business needs Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance (immediate eligibility) 401(k) retirement plan Two weeks paid vacation, accrued at 10 hours every 30 days (additional week earned after 2 years of service)
