Build Your Career at QuikCut! QuikCut, LLC is growing, and we're looking for skilled Welder/Fitters to join our team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. If you take pride in precision craftsmanship and want to build high-quality metal products, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do As a Welder/Fitter, you will fit and weld metal components according to engineered drawings and customer specifications while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Fit and weld metal components. Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, and other welding processes as required. Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Measure and verify dimensions for proper fit and alignment. Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Welder/Fitter in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills. Experience with MIG, TIG, Stick, or other welding processes. Knowledge of fabrication tools and measuring instruments. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel throughout the workday. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance. Why Choose QuikCut?
