Important:

This position will begin at our Lebanon, IN facility. Our operations are in the process of relocating to Whitestown, IN, and employees hired for this role will be expected to work from the Whitestown location once the transition is complete. Candidates should be comfortable commuting to Whitestown in the future. Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable MIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have prior MIG welding experience, the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings, and a strong commitment to quality and safety. This role is responsible for performing welding operations on a variety of components while meeting production standards and quality requirements. Principal Duties Candidates must satisfactorily complete a welding test demonstrating welding expertise according to company standards.

Responsibilities include:

Operate manual and automated welding equipment by depositing metal from an electrode to a workpiece and joining edges of workpieces. Maintain proper arc length and travel speed to achieve specified weld penetration and bead quality. Repair improperly welded pieces and fill holes as needed. Position and clamp workpieces together or assemble them in fixtures prior to welding. Tack weld assemblies together in preparation for final welding. Perform minor equipment maintenance, including changing hoses, fittings, air valves, suspension parts, and related components. Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean, organized, and safe condition. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 1 year of prior MIG welding experience. Welding certification preferred but not required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and train others when needed. Demonstrated shop math skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, production layouts, technical drawings, work orders, and written instructions. Previous manufacturing, fabrication, welding, or vocational training experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift throughout the workday. Ability to safely lift and move materials as required. Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to heat, noise, and welding fumes while wearing required PPE.
