Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MIG Welder to join our dynamic fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding operations on various metal components, primarily utilizing Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding techniques. Your expertise will contribute to the creation and assembly of durable structures and equipment, ensuring adherence to safety standards and precise specifications. Duties Set up welding equipment, including MIG welders, ensuring proper calibration and safety checks before commencing work Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble components according to specifications Perform MIG welding on sheet metal, ductwork, piping, and fabricated assemblies with precision and consistency Utilize hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape and prepare materials Conduct quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools to verify dimensions and weld integrity Follow ASME codes & standards for welding procedures and ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times Assist with rigging, mechanical assembly, pipe threading, soldering, and plasma cutting tasks as needed for fabrication projects Qualifications Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety protocols and site-specific procedures Proficiency in MIG welding techniques; experience with FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and TIG welding is a plus Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and schematics for accurate fabrication and assembly processes Familiarity with the use of calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, and schematics for precise measurements and assembly Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes such as pipe threading, machining, soldering, and plasma cutting Experience working with sheet metal, ductwork, or similar materials in manufacturing or construction environments Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment safely; certification preferred Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks Join our team to build exceptional structures with precision craftsmanship!
