Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality metal structures and parts, supporting various construction and manufacturing projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and welding skills in a fast-paced environment committed to excellence and safety. Duties Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes. Perform welding operations using various techniques including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) in accordance with AWS (American Welding Society) standards. Measure and mark materials accurately using calipers, micrometers, measuring instruments, and shop math to ensure precise fabrication. Operate power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently. Fabricate sheet metal components, ductwork, piping, and structural elements following detailed specifications. Use rigging, pipe threading, soldering, and assembly techniques to complete projects on time and within quality standards. Adhere strictly to safety protocols during all welding, machining, fabrication, and construction activities; maintain a clean and organized work environment. Requirements Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety procedures. Hands-on experience operating cranes, forklifts, machining tools, and power tools in a manufacturing or construction setting. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and interpreting mechanical blueprints accurately. Skilled in measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures; capable of performing shop math calculations confidently. Demonstrated expertise in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, SMAW, and gas metal arc welding; familiar with ASME codes & standards. Knowledge of metal fabrication processes involving sheet metal fabrication, pipe threading, ductwork manufacturing, and plasma cutting. Mechanical knowledge related to assembly processes, schematics interpretation, rigging procedures, and mechanical fabrication principles. Ability to work with various metal materials safely while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship. Strong adherence to safety protocols with a focus on preventing accidents on the job site or in the shop environment. #
