Job Description

Welder United Rotary Brush is an Olathe, Kansas based manufacturer of specialty industrial brushes for the airport, road construction, street sweeping and plow industries. Our Olathe, KS, manufacturing facility ( I-35 & Old 56 Hwy) is looking for Welder for 2nd shift . Our positions are a great fit for those individuals that take pride in their work to produce a quality product for our customers. Shift:
Monday - Thursday 4:20 pm to 2:50 am Welder
JOB SUMMARY
In this position you will be responsible for the process of tube assemblies for the tube-broom production line, mandrels, and strip cores. Welder
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Cut and prepare tubing for assembly and welding according to specifications. Weld drive components to the tubes. Accountable for storage of tubes and tube assembly components. Inform management of material shortages or defects. Maintain component materials in an organized fashion Assist in inventory cycle counting. Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner. Other duties as assigned by management Welder
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with coursework in Welding Minimum one-year related welding experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and work experience Mig/Tig welding required; welding certification is preferred. Must be able to operate equipment or tools, specifically: press machine, drilling machine, band saw, blowtorch and air powered tools. EOE/Minorities/Females/Veterans/Disabled.
