Job Description
SUMMARY:
MIG welds aluminum components per blueprint drawing. Based on schedule needs, this position may be required to work in other department areas as needed.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Produces consistent welds per Company training and quality standards
- Produces uniform, presentable appearing welds
- Adjusts welding machine and welding technique to produce consistent welds to standard
- Performs basic repairs and maintenance to welding machine and tooling
- Suggest process improvements
- Work as a team with other welders and assemblers to optimize output
- Ability to understand blueprint drawings for job at hand
- Perform other duties as assigned by Lead, Supervisor, and Manager
- Produces components at rates expected
- Participates in physical inventories
