Job Description

Overview AM PM Staffing Services is seeking skilled Aluminum Welders to join our team at a busy shipyard in Lockport, LA. The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of experience working in a shipyard environment and a strong proficiency in aluminum pulse welding.
Responsibilities:
Perform aluminum pulse welding to construct, repair, or modify ship components. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Ensure welding work meets safety and quality standards. Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools. Collaborate with the shipyard team to meet production deadlines. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a welder in a shipyard. Expertise in aluminum pulse welding techniques. Ability to work 50 hours per week on a day shift schedule. Strong understanding of welding safety protocols. High attention to detail and precision in welding tasks.
