Job Description

Genesis Energy, LLC is an affiliate of Genesis Energy, L.P. a publicly traded, master limited partnership headquartered in Houston, Texas. We provide critical pipeline infrastructure supporting long-lived, world-class developments in the Gulf of America. Our business also includes a diversified suite of Jones Act compliant marine transportation equipment used to transport crude oil and intermediate refined products along the Gulf and East Coast, and major river systems, the production and marketing of other specialty chemicals with no known substitutes and an increasingly integrated portfolio of onshore crude oil pipelines and terminals along the Gulf Coast.
Key Duties:
Perform routine repairs on company equipment including trucks and trailers. Welding and torch cutting duties, if qualified. Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with company equipment. Perform routine inspections of equipment to identify parts and areas that require repair. Perform routine repairs on wheel ends, suspensions, and other components. Perform scheduled maintenance inspections in accordance with DOT regulations. Complete work orders in a legible, accurate, and timely manner. Help maintenance coworkers consistent with skillset as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Perform all work in accordance with established quality standards and safety procedures. Participate in and promote company safety programs. Participate in company sponsored continuing education courses as required.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
High School diploma, GED, or Technical School training in mechanics and/or welding. Experience in vehicle maintenance and/or welding and fabricating. Ability to learn how to use test instruments, diagnose malfunctions, and other functions. Some computer skills required for test equipment and Company related programs. Self-starter, responsible and able to work with limited supervision. Genesis Energy is an equal opportunity employer.
