Summary:
Responsible for joining metal parts together to create products or structures using a variety of welding techniques. Does this position require Patient Care? No
Essential Functions:
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and welding plans to determine the appropriate welding technique and materials needed.
  • Setting up welding equipment and ensuring it is in proper working order.
  • Welding and fusing metal parts together using a variety of welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
  • Inspecting and testing welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Maintaining and repairing welding equipment as needed.
  • Following safety procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing welding tasks.
  • Communicating with supervisors, engineers, and other team members to ensure welding projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Experience Experience in a related role. 1-2 years required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Proficiency in using a variety of welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding plans.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
