Job Description
Now Hiring Experienced Welders / Fabricators DG Marshall Associates is looking for hardworking, reliable welders who take pride in building quality equipment. We are a hands-on, blue-collar manufacturing shop that builds heavy-duty conveyor systems and material handling equipment used across multiple industries including recycling, waste, energy, wastewater, and bulk material processing. If you like working with your hands, building real equipment, and being part of a solid shop team — this is the place for you. What You'll Be Doing Fabricating and assembling conveyor systems and structural components Reading and working from blueprints, weld symbols, shop drawings, and bills of materials Layout, measuring, and marking materials using shop math and layout tools Cutting, drilling, deburring, fitting, and labeling fabricated parts Performing MIG (GMAW) welding on mild steel and stainless steel TIG (GTAW) welding on aluminum and stainless steel is a plus Operating hand tools including grinders, drills, screw guns, and measuring tools Running forklifts and overhead cranes (training available if needed) Inspecting welds and finished parts to ensure quality standards are met Repairing or reworking parts when needed Keeping your work area clean, organized, and safe Helping teammates and pitching in where needed What We're Looking For 2-3 years of MIG welding experience (steel and stainless preferred) Ability to read blueprints and follow shop drawings Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a team Trade school or welding certification is a plus but not required Physical Requirements Ability to lift 30-50 lbs regularly Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive fabrication tasks Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Why Work at DG Marshall Associates Steady, full-time shop work Work on custom-built, heavy-duty equipment Team-oriented environment Opportunity to grow skills and advance Overtime opportunities may be available DG Marshall Associates is a full-service conveyor manufacturing company capable of designing and building complete integrated material handling systems, as well as individual components including belt conveyors, drag conveyors, screw conveyors, bucket elevators, storage bins, mezzanines, walkways, galleries, and more.
