In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to high-quality project outcomes across various construction sites and manufacturing environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your welding skills in a fast-paced, safety-conscious setting where craftsmanship and attention to detail are valued. Responsibilities Perform TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding techniques to join metal parts according to blueprints and schematics Read and interpret detailed schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of components Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement instruments to ensure precise dimensions and quality standards Operate fabrication equipment such as press brake machines, plasma cutters, and pipe threading tools to shape and prepare materials for welding or assembly Conduct rigging, assembly, and installation of structural steel, ductwork, piping systems, or sheet metal components on construction sites or in manufacturing facilities Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and understanding of ASME codes & standards for welding procedures Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while ensuring the highest quality workmanship Requirements Proven experience working on construction sites or in manufacturing environments as a welder Proficiency in TIG welding processes (specifically on thing gauge stainless steel) Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and plasma cutting equipment Knowledge of fabrication techniques including sheet metal work, pipe threading, soldering, machining, and assembly Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks Experience operating cranes or forklifts is advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided if needed Strong understanding of safety standards such as ASME codes & standards for welding practices Join us if you're ready to bring your welding expertise into a vibrant environment that values craftsmanship, safety, and teamwork.
