Temp-to-Hire Our client in Biddeford is hiring a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join their team in a clean, air‑conditioned metal fabrication environment . This position pays $25-$30/hr and is temp-to-hire , offering long-term opportunity and stability. This is a hands-on fabrication role ideal for experienced welders who can work independently, read blueprints, and produce high-quality tubular steel components with precision. - Layout, fit, MIG weld, and finish tubular-steel parts per customer specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, job travelers, cut lists, and BOMs
- Measure work pieces throughout fabrication to ensure quality and repeatability
- Perform daily safety checks and basic maintenance on welding equipment
- Identify defects or equipment issues and report them to supervision What we're looking for:
- High school diploma, trade school certificate, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency using tape measures, calipers, and related measuring tools
- Strong blueprint reading skills, including decimals and fractions
