The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Marine Grade aluminum, rail cars, steam vessels, combo pipe welding, among other fabrications . This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction or manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Safe and efficient use of 4g aluminum (marine grade) spoolgun GMAW, 4g aluminum (marine grade) GTAW, 4g smaw steel, 4g gmaw steel Adherence to all company policies and safety protocols Must be able to work varying Day shift times and Weekends as required Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements. Fabricate components according to specifications while ensuring adherence to ASME codes & standards. Conduct quality inspections of welds using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment is properly stored after use. Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, stick welding, and plasma cutting techniques.

• minimum 1 year GTAW (TIG) welding aluminum in 1G-3G positions
• minimum 1 year GMAW (MIG Spool gun or Python) welding aluminum in 1G-3G positions
• experience GMAW and SMAW (MIG and stick) welding mild steel 1G-4G positions
• Oxy-fuel and plasma cutting experience What is the work schedule (what days/hours of the day required?

): Subject to change, M-F 5am-3pm (Some Weekends as needed)

Metro Detroit Job Duties:

Prepare and weld bulk material trailers and various frame members

Wage Range/Rate of Pay:

• Perform welding on tanker walls and trailer members for bulker trailers, additional welding on steel and aluminum to support concrete plant operations.
