Job Description

Welder - Stainless Steel (TIG) Company Overview Duram Mfg. LLC (DML) is a growing manufacturer of high-quality material handling equipment, proudly serving a wide range of industries. Located in Evart, Michigan, we are committed to craftsmanship, innovation, and building a team that thrives on collaboration and continuous improvement. Job Summary We are seeking a responsible and motivated Welder to join our DML team. The ideal candidate will have experience with stainless steel TIG welding, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work up to 50 hours per week. This is a great opportunity to grow with a company that values skill development and teamwork. Key Responsibilities Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components. Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols. Set up and operate welding equipment and maintain a clean, safe workspace. Identify and differentiate between various types of structural steel. Collaborate with engineering and fellow welders to resolve issues and ensure quality. Accurately measure and prepare materials for welding. Required Skills TIG welding (stainless steel preferred). Basic wire welding knowledge. Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols. Familiarity with welding machine setup and operation. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Required Knowledge Welding techniques and safety procedures. Structural steel types and their applications. Measurement tools and fabrication processes. Blueprint reading and interpretation. Ability to Implement Apply welding skills to fabricate high-quality components. Follow detailed instructions and engineering specifications. Work independently and as part of a team. Adapt to changing priorities and production needs. Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
