Job Description

MIG WelderResponsible for fabricating various sheet metal products, utilizing drawings, instructions, and company guidelines. Will be assisting with manufacturing of racks for car companies by welding.

Functions-Operate welding equipment to work with carbon steel in various thicknesses in horizontal and vertical positions.-proficient in mig welding-visualize what finished products should look like (print reading)-repair improperly welded pieces and fill holesAssemblySupport in assembly of racking. Position includes actions such as inspecting parts for various defects, properly scrapping parts with defects, assembling per instructions, keeping your surrounding area tidy, some assembly of parts if required by instructions, and other duties as assigned. Have own welding helmet, stand for entire shift, lift up to 50lbs
