2nd Shift Welder Fabricator Job Description Join our team as a 2nd Shift Welder Fabricator where you will be integral in crafting steel staircases, railings, and other structural components for various building projects. The role begins with training on the 1st shift for 1-2 months before transitioning to the 2nd shift, which runs from 4:00pm to 3:00am, Monday through Thursday, with planned overtime on Fridays. A 10% shift premium is offered upon transition. Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on aluminum, stainless, and carbon steel. Fabricate structural steel components, including staircases and railings. Read and interpret blueprints to complete assigned tasks. Utilize shop equipment such as grinders, drills, taps, brakes, and shears. Contribute to miscellaneous steel department projects. Essential Skills Proficiency in MIG welding. Strong fabrication skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Knowledge of layout processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with aluminum, carbon steel, or stainless steel.
