Welder/Fabricator

Jackson, MI Pay:

$22.00+ per hour (Based on Experience) Full-Time | 1st Shift | Overtime Available Recruit Specialized Staffing is currently seeking experienced Welders and Fabricators for multiple opportunities in the Jackson area. We are looking for dependable individuals with strong welding skills who are ready to join growing manufacturing and fabrication environments.

Responsibilities:

Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and fabricated components Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Fabricate, fit, and assemble parts to specifications Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, grinders, and hand tools Maintain a safe and organized work area Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines

Qualifications:

Previous welding and fabrication experience required Ability to pass a weld test Blueprint reading experience preferred Experience working with steel, stainless steel, or structural materials is a plus Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable transportation and good attendance required
